As president of OSO BioPharmaceuticals Manufacturing, LLC, Milton Boyer is responsible for building an injectable drug contract manufacturing organization that distinguishes itself with world-class customer service.
Mr. Boyer has been responsible for guiding business strategies and creating new growth opportunities at OsoBio since 2008, most recently as vice president of business development and sales. He serves on OsoBio's board of directors.
With more than 20 years of professional experience within fine chemical and pharmaceutical business development, Boyer has developed special expertise in contract manufacturing for both drug substances and drug product. He previously served as director of sales and marketing for Siegfried-USA and Chattem Chemicals Inc.. Mr. Boyer is currently serving a term as board member of Drugs, Chemicals & Allied Trades (DCAT), and is a member of other professional organizations, including American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) and the Parenteral Drug Association (PDA).
With extensive experience in facility turnarounds, Jeff Curl has been instrumental in transforming OsoBio from an entity within a highly structured bureaucracy into an entrepreneurial and customer–focused organization.
He has more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, primarily in parenteral manufacturing and operations in both the drug and biologics sectors. Prior to joining OsoBio, Mr. Curl held positions at Aventis Behring, Centeon and Rhone Poulenc Rorer. Now in his sixth year at OsoBio, he has led the implementation of operational excellence, including lean Six Sigma, and managing the cultural impact across the company.
Bob Cashman has been recently promoted to Vice President of Business Development. He joined the OsoBio team in 2009 as Director of New Business Development and since that time he has demonstrated a keen ability to bring new opportunities to OsoBio and sign new accounts.
Mr. Cashman has more than 25 years of Business Development experience in the sterile sector of the pharmaceutical industry, including senior management positions at Catalent, Vetter, and West Pharmaceuticals. Mr. Cashman is well recognized within our industry; serving on board of the Philadelphia Drug Exchange (PDE) as well as a recent appointment to head the Scholarship Committee for the Drug Chemical and Allied Trade (DCAT) organization. He holds a bachelor's of science degree from Villanova University.
As Vice President of Quality, David M. Lee is responsible for overseeing all quality-related functions to ensure OsoBio's continued compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), including quality systems, quality control and manufacturing quality assurance.
Lee brings to OsoBio more than 20 years of professional experience managing quality operations and API and sterile manufacturing. Prior to joining the company, he served as director of validation and quality at Amgen Inc.
A member of the Parenteral Drug Association, Lee holds a master's degree in biology from California State University, Northridge, and a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of California, Riverside.
Julie Miner, CPA, provides business analysis and strategic financial direction to the management of OsoBio. She is responsible for managing the company’s assets as well as overseeing monthly, quarterly and annual financial results.
Ms. Miner has more than 16 years of accounting experience in a variety of business environments ranging from manufacturing to corporate. Prior to joining OsoBio, she served as controller for Catalent Pharma Solutions. Ms Miner is a certified public accountant in the state of New Mexico.
Alan P. Heim has served as our Vice President of Human Resources since December 2011. Mr. Heim brings a wealth of Human Resources experience to OsoBio having served as head human resources officer in the medical device, information technology and pharmaceutical industries including Corporate Director, Human Resources for ICN Pharmaceuticals. Mr. Heim also held multiple leadership positions over a 23 year career as an Officer in the United States Marine Corps and retired at the rank of Colonel. During his Marine Corps experience, Mr. Heim was awarded a Research Fellowship at Harvard where he studied and wrote on leadership and change. Mr. Heim holds a BA degree from Salem State College, and a MA in HR Management from Pepperdine University. He was awarded his SPHR (Senior Professional of Human Resources) certification in 1997.
