Shortages have attracted the unrelenting attention of industry publications, and are generating serious discussions at this year's conferences.
I am very pleased to be participating with other industry leaders during DCAT Week to discuss the unique challenges facing the sterile injectable supply chain. As part of a panel examining "Key Trends for Sterile Injectable Manufacturing and Outsourcing," we will discuss shortages, regulatory challenges and outsourcing trends in the injectable drug space.
I believe these challenges provide unique opportunities for contract manufacturers and drug sponsors to partner in new and collaborative ways. This is consistent with the type of CMO we strive to be, routinely leveraging the strengths of our people, facilities and processes to manage supply chains for our customers. It's something we've successfully done for years – and we look forward to sharing some "lessons learned" in upcoming newsletters.
If you're attending DCAT Week, please join the session "Key Trends for Sterile Injectable Manufacturing and Outsourcing," then visit with us during the networking reception that OsoBio is sponsoring Wednesday afternoon. It would be my pleasure to speak with you.
President

DCAT Week remains one of OsoBio's favorite conferences of the year. As you know, Milton serves on the executive committee of DCAT. This year, he's a panelist examining key trends for sterile injectables, with a focus on how CMOs can improve operational security while retaining competitiveness. This panel is being held:

Wed., March 13
9 - 11:45 a.m.
Vanderbilt Room
OsoBio also sponsors the Wed. evening networking reception following the "Facilities of the Future" session. Will you be at DCAT Week? Let us know if we can expect to see you. You can find the agenda at DCAT.org.
